Fangtopia Steam has a separate free demo available before the main game's planned October 26, 2026 release. The demo includes Fangtopia Mode and Island Mode, each capped at 1,000 points with unlimited replays. The main game remains unreleased as of October 7, so its wider feature list is not the demo's confirmed playable inventory.

01

Choose the correct Steam listing

The main Fangtopia page uses App 3010170, while the Demo page uses App 3150980. The main listing supplies the full-game description, planned release date and a demo link. The demo listing identifies the preview as free and has its own installation entry. These separate pages distinguish the preview available now from the complete release still to come.

Use the demo listing to try the game and the main listing to wishlist it or check release information. A free preview does not establish that the full game will be free, and the snapshot does not publish a confirmed Fangtopia purchase price. The final price and regional unlock time remain 待确认. Prices in nearby Steam recommendations belong to other games and should not be copied into a Fangtopia buying guide.

02

Find the official demo download entry

The demo's official Steam page is the supported starting point for its download. The October 7 snapshot labels it a free demo and offers an installation entry, while the main game page links to the same preview. Use these official listings to reach the currently advertised download. An old alpha invitation, third-party file or supposed activation code is not needed to explain the public entry.

The exact interface can differ between Steam in a browser and its client. This guide links to the official page without inventing a sequence of buttons, installation paths or keyboard shortcuts. Installation errors and device-specific troubleshooting remain 待确认 unless a source documents them. For the building rules after starting the preview, our gameplay guide explains matching tiles, landmarks, portals and the railway theme.

03

Compare the two playable demo modes

Fangtopia Mode shapes a landscape with stacks of hexagonal tiles. Island Mode focuses on a Ghost Train railway network connecting multiple islands. The store applies a 1,000-point cap to each mode and allows unlimited replays of both. This is a per-mode score restriction, rather than a combined allowance, a level cap or evidence of a missing unlock.

The demo-specific description also confirms ASMR Mode in the Audio settings. This is explicitly advertised for the preview, unlike extras appearing only beneath the full-game introduction farther down the page. Replaying lets you explore either mode within the same cap, without promising new content after a particular number of runs. Complete scoring formulas, tile inventories and demo objectives remain 待确认.

04

Read the full-game section separately

The demo store page changes scope when it introduces what is coming in the full game. That section lists Fangtopia, Ghoulish and Island modes, whereas the playable preview section lists only Fangtopia and Island. Ghoulish offers bigger worlds and a broader range of tile types in the complete game, and is not included in the demo. Its name lower on the page does not confirm a hidden third mode in the download.

The full-game material also announces global and friends leaderboards, an interactive Sticker Book and more than 100 kingdom titles. That count concerns titles for the kingdom, not tiles, creatures or levels. The preview contrasts its cap with bigger worlds and higher scores in the full game, without confirming all additional systems for the demo. Their preview availability remains 待确认, and our trailer page separates official footage from playable-content claims.

05

Understand the older demo history

An older community thread asked why a previous demo had been removed. A publisher representative explained that a replacement was being prepared to represent the full game more closely. The current snapshot includes a September 24, 2026 news item announcing the new demo alongside the public download entry. The removal discussion is historical context, rather than evidence that today's listed preview is unavailable.

The demo page retains older release metadata showing August 14, 2024. That is not the date of the September 2026 announcement or proof of the latest patch. Player speculation about release timing and hoped-for discounts in the old thread is not official pricing policy. Use the Steam discussions for dated reports and the official store pages for the availability described in this October 7 check.

06

Check the Windows PC minimum requirements

The main and demo snapshots show the same Windows PC minimum requirements. They specify a 64-bit processor and operating system, Windows 10 or 11, an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, and 8 GB RAM. Graphics are NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850, with 400 MB of available storage. These are official minimum entries captured on October 7, 2026, rather than measurements from running the game on our hardware.

Meeting this listing does not give a verified frame rate, graphics setting or performance guarantee. The saved recommended section only supplies the 64-bit requirement, so fuller recommended specifications remain 待确认. The 400 MB value is a PC requirement in this snapshot, not a confirmed download size for every version or a console installation size. Check the official listing when installing, because requirements and delivered files can change during development.

07

Distinguish controllers, languages and Steam Deck

Both listings show full controller support and name Xbox controllers. This describes an input device for PC, rather than announcing an Xbox console version. The full game lists 18 supported languages and the demo lists 17, with English full audio and interface or subtitle support for German, French and Japanese. These tables do not mean every language has full voice acting or that this website's four languages are the game's only options.

Steam Deck compatibility is Unknown on both saved listings, so a verified support status remains 待确认. One player described a demo that ran well but became slightly sluggish as more tiles appeared, without a controlled benchmark or measured frame rates. Our key-rebinding report records a separate player's control symptoms without confirming a permanent fix. Device performance and reliable workarounds still require confirmation, rather than turning either report into a general guarantee.

08

Keep release and platform plans in view

The planned full-game date is October 26, 2026, with PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 announced. The official website also shows Steam, Epic Games Store and Stove as PC store destinations. Our release guide distinguishes the available demo from the upcoming game. The Switch guide explains the named Nintendo hardware, while the Xbox guide addresses why controller support does not settle a console-release question.

Original Switch and Xbox console versions remain 待确认 in the checked material. Console storage requirements, regional launch times and the full game's price are also unconfirmed here. The free Steam demo lets you examine the two advertised modes before release within their preview limits. This page uses official listings and dated reports without a local installation, gameplay test or benchmark.

Questions

What players ask

Which modes are included in the demo?

The demo includes Fangtopia Mode and Island Mode. Ghoulish Mode is described for the full game and is not included in the demo.

Is the 1,000-point limit a bug?

The demo store lists a 1,000-point limit for each mode. Reaching that cap does not, by itself, indicate a bug or a missing unlock.

Can I replay the demo?

Yes, both demo modes can be replayed as often as you like. Each new run remains subject to the same 1,000-point limit.
